Dérivations is a French-language annual journal dedicated to urban debates in their social, political, and aesthetic dimensions. Published since 2015 by the association UrbAgora (Wallonia), and since 2023 in partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Liège, it addresses major urban issues—mobility, housing, architecture, environment, and urban struggles—both historically and in light of contemporary challenges. Rooted in a critical tradition shaped by Henri Lefebvre’s reflections on the right to the city, Dérivations combines scholarly contributions, theoretical texts, field interventions, and visual materials, making academic research accessible to a wider audience.
