Many Houses/Many Worlds explores the entanglement between the planet and the cosmos. It looks at one recently constructed house in Seattle, Washington and analyzes it according to four vectors, each of which is interpreted as a type of consciousness that is silenced once the owners get the keys to the front door: 1) Atomic consciousness, 2) Production Consciousness, 3) Labor Consciousness, and 4) Source Consciousness. The study showed not just the astonishing globality that is at play in making even a small house, but also the high degree of uncertainty in how even to describe the backstory of the building, even though that backstory is foundational to the project of modernity.

Abstract
Many Houses/Many Worlds explores the entanglement between the planet and the cosmos. It looks at one recently constructed house in Seattle, Washington and analyzes it according to four vectors, each of which is interpreted as a type of consciousness that is silenced once the owners get the keys to the front door: 1) Atomic consciousness, 2) Production Consciousness, 3) Labor Consciousness, and 4) Source Consciousness. The study showed not just the astonishing globality that is at play in making even a small house, but also the high degree of uncertainty in how even to describe the backstory of the building, even though that backstory is foundational to the project of modernity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
