Housing Builds Cities

Guest-editorship of a special issue of the journal, comprising 14 contributions selected through a call for papers, supplemented by 3 invited essays (by Paola Viganò, Bruno Marchand, and Eric Mumford) introducing the three thematic sections into which the volume is structured, and 2 additional essays authored by two of the three editors (introduction and postface). The proposal for the special issue was approved by the journal’s scientific committee. Subsequently, the contributions selected on the basis of abstracts underwent a rigorous blind peer-review process, which further refined the selection. As guest editors, we were responsible for the entire scientific and organizational process of the publication: from the development of the scientific proposal, the selection of contributions, and the identification of referees, to the supervision of the review process and the final quality control of the articles, ensuring that each paper adequately incorporated the feedback emerging during the evaluation.

Curatela di un numero speciale della rivista, composto da 14 contributi selezionati su base di call for paper a cui si aggiungo 3 saggi di autori invitati (Paola Viganò, Bruno Marchand e Eric Mumford) che introducono le tre sezioni tematiche in cui è stato strutturato il volume, e 2 saggi firmati da due dei tre editori (introduzione e postfazione). La proposta del numero speciale è stata approvata dal comitato scientifico della rivista. In seguito i contributi selezionati su base abstract sono stati sottoposti a un rigoroso processo di blind peer review, che ha contribuito a un’ulteriore selezione. In qualità di guest editor, ci siamo occupati dell’intero iter scientifico e organizzativo della pubblicazione: dalla formulazione della proposta scientifica, dalla selezione dei contributi alla ricerca dei referee, fino alla supervisione delle revisioni e al controllo della qualità finale degli articoli, assicurandoci che ciascun paper recepisse in modo adeguato i suggerimenti emersi durante la valutazione.
