Through a Critical Discourse Analysis of the Vogue Talents special issues published between 2010 and 2021, the chapter aims to unveil the mechanisms of institutionalised fashion media. Discussing the fashion sustainability-related discourse, the chapter confirms that this content is not a recent feature of the Italian fashion magazine. Indeed, a clear evolution of the relationship between fashion and sustainability is observed. Yet, the focus on predominantly environmental aspects and the lack of journalistic rigour suggest much room for improvement.
