While experiment modal analysis and model updating are the more common activities that can get enhancements from experiment-based full-field receptances, further investigations can achieve strong boosts when the real structure is retained in the simulations, without simplifications of untuned models: pseudo-inverse vibro-acoustics and related fatigue life assessment studies. These works are spin-off activities fostered by the grown seeds put in the Speckle Interferometry for Industrial Needs and the Towards Experimental Full-Field Modal Analysis projects.
