Media hospitality refers to the media’s duty to guarantee the right for all to participate in the construction of the public discourse on the other and the elsewhere, by including different voices and by creating the conditions for them to be heard. Media hospitality is here intended as media justice, for a more comprehensive and plural representation, free from stereotypical and prejudicial images. This concept refers to a process to be built together, as an outcome of questioning ourselves through listening to diverse others and understanding what they tell us, and entering into relationships with them, giving visibility to those who live in the shadows in our globalized world.

Abstract
Media hospitality refers to the media’s duty to guarantee the right for all to participate in the construction of the public discourse on the other and the elsewhere, by including different voices and by creating the conditions for them to be heard. Media hospitality is here intended as media justice, for a more comprehensive and plural representation, free from stereotypical and prejudicial images. This concept refers to a process to be built together, as an outcome of questioning ourselves through listening to diverse others and understanding what they tell us, and entering into relationships with them, giving visibility to those who live in the shadows in our globalized world.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
