Fifteen fragmentary stone vessels have been retrieved in the filling layers of well P.5347 (F.5801, F.5857, F.5858, F.5859, F.5882, F.5919, F.5945, F.6309; for a group photo see Cavriani et al. 2019-2020: fig. 9.11). Among them, there are four bar-handled bowls (Pl. IX.3), a handled dish, two pedestal dishes and two mortar bowls, while the remains are fragmentary rims and bases belonging to everted bowls. Following a macroscopic observation of the pieces, different kind of fine stones can be recognize in the corpus, such as serpentine, gabbro and basalt, although a proper petrographic analysis is lacking. Overall, the corpus of stone vessels from the Neo-Assyrian well may be compared with stone vessels from North Syrian and Upper Mesopotamian contexts dating mainly to Iron III period, described in more details.
