Through a broad and rigorous analysis with methods of Diplomatics, the contribution aims to demonstrate that the lost mosaic of the imperial couple – originally affixed in the church of the Pammakaristos in Constantinople and today available in the reproduction by Theodosius Zygomalas in the cod. hist. 2° 601 of the Württembergische Landesbibliothek in Stuttgart – depicted the basileus Andronicus III Palaeologus and his wife Anna of Savoy.
Attraverso un'ampia e rigorosa analisi diplomatistica, il contributo mira a dimostrare che il perduto mosaico della coppia imperiale – in origine affisso nella chiesa della Pammakaristos a Costantinopoli e oggi disponibile nella riproduzione di Teodosio Zygomalas nel cod. hist. 2° 601 della Württembergische Landesbibliothek a Stoccarda – raffigurava il basileus Andronico III Paleologo e la sua sposa Anna di Savoia.
