At the farmhouse Podere Faetani, some rooms have been discovered that can be attributed to a suburban villa dating to the 1st century AD. Although the building seems to have been abandoned during the 5th century, the area remained occupied at least until the 8th century, as is also suggested by a metalworking workshop located near the Glareata road.
