Two samples have recently been excavated at the building located to the North of the Basilica Petriana, identified by geophysical surveys. The archaeological investigations have brought to light some difficult to interpret masonry structures that had already been dismantled in antiquity. The evidence in Sample 6 testifies to the existence of an apsidal building equipped with decorative apparatus., while in Salmple 1 a prolonged occupation of the area is attested, continuing even after the dismantling of structures.
