In Pindar’s Olympian 13, if the ancient colometry is maintained, the metrical shift from iambo-aeolics to kat’enoplion-epitrites seems to take on a semantic function in connection with the mythical section, viz. the account of Pegasus tamed by Bellerophon and the ‘warlike dance’ (v. 86) subsequently played by the hero.
