In this essay I intend to focus on truth and lies in extra-moral sense as a stage in Nietzsche's apprenticeship as a writer of philosophy. As is well known, this is a text that would see the light of day more than twenty years later, when Nietzsche, although still alive, would no longer be active, and which therefore remained in draft form. For my purposes, it is necessary to emphasise from the outset another significant fact regarding its composition. Strictly speaking, Nietzsche did not write this text, but rather recited it aloud. Due to a vision problem, On Truth and Lies was in fact dictated by Nietzsche during June of 1873 in Basel, and physically written down by his friend Carl von Gersdorff. By analysing the posthumous fragments and what should have been the Philosophenbuch, the essay aims to highlight the specificity of philosophical language for Nietzsche.

Abstract
By analysing the posthumous fragments and what should have been the Philosophenbuch, the essay aims to highlight the specificity of philosophical language for Nietzsche.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
