A control scheme for a high torque-density sevenphase induction motor is presented. This scheme integrates within a coherent solution some of the features that are commonly required to a modern electric vehicle drive, such as the capability to exploit the maximum torque in the whole speed range, a weak dependence on the motor parameters, a good robustness against the variations of the dc-link voltage and, whenever possible, the minimum Joule losses. The performance of the control scheme is verified by experimental tests.

Abstract
A control scheme for a high torque-density sevenphase induction motor is presented. This scheme integrates within a coherent solution some of the features that are commonly required to a modern electric vehicle drive, such as the capability to exploit the maximum torque in the whole speed range, a weak dependence on the motor parameters, a good robustness against the variations of the dc-link voltage and, whenever possible, the minimum Joule losses. The performance of the control scheme is verified by experimental tests.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
