INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL AND EUROPEAN STUDIES FOUNDATION AND CORVINUS UNIVERSITY OF BUDAPEST XVth International Summer University at ISES 28th of June 2010, Kőszeg «Diversity Management in Politics, Culture and Society» (June 21 – July 2, 2010 Kőszeg, Hungary) In July 2010, the ISES Foundation-Corvinus University of Budapest postgraduate research centre in K!szeg was awarded the status of Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence by the European Commission. This award facilitates the newly established Institute for Global and European Integration Studies (IGES) and will mark K!szeg as a new European academic centre. The XVth International Summer University, Diversity Management in Politics, Culture and Society, was viewed by all as a great success. This year, the programme was enriched by UNESCO representatives and the UNESCO programme: “The Year of Rapproachement of Cultures”. Since 1996, ISES has organized an International Summer University. The Summer University is multidisciplinary and offers a great opportunity for experts, activists, practitioners and policy makers, researchers, social scientists and students to meet and discuss contemporary challenges and international cooperation. Lectures, panel discussions and workshops began on June 21 and were held over a period of 12 days concluding with student presentations and reflections on July 2.
