This work aims to approach the presence of Japanese-Brazilian pop culture in digital media by means of cultural expressions of Brazilian fans of manga and anime, fashion and cosplay practice whose contents are shared on the internet. As methodology, an exploratory study was based on a bibliographical research of the concepts related to the advances of information and communication technologies and the emerging spaces of the network, as well as the approach of expressions of Brazilian pop culture. It was also used to observe the field of activities of the public in question and the projection of them in the digital scenario. It was considered that, in the context of media convergence, as proposed by Henry Jenkins, the field of Information and Communication Technologies by fans of Japanese pop culture triggered a diversified production of contents that are reflected in the various possibilities of cultural appropriation, building for the Brazilian public a distinct Japanese- Brazilian pop culture whose sense of belonging is essential.
