The law 7/2018 introduced important changes within the legal framework of the solidarity income. Some of these changes were necessary in order to coordinate the solidarity income with the national measure against poverty, the inclusion income (Reddito di inclusione), which is, however, intended to be replaced by citizenship income (Reddito di cittadinanza) from April 2019. The work analyzes the new structure and objectives of solidarity income as resulting from the changes introduced by the law 7/2018.
