According to National and European discourses on participation (Andersson et al, 2016; Becquet et al, 2019), young peoples’ participation should be enhanced already in the teenage years as an integral part to individuals’ socialization processes and outcomes in later life. This discourse is particularLY significant and reflecting the Structure of the European Education Systems 2018/19 (the Euridyce model). In this vein, the paper explores school participatory discourse in relation to the regulations and to the development of the participation experience in the Italian national context.
