The paper is a short reflection on the issue of creation, management and visualization of digitized book collection, starting from the reading of the book “Come gestire una collezione di libri digitalizzati” (How to manage a digitized book collection); the main topics, such as the steps of a digitization project, the issues of visualization and retrieval of the items, and the preservation of the collection, are discussed in an interview with the authors of the book.
