The water supply system of Tharros was discovered between 1950s and 1960s in the urban area located between San Giovanni hill and Oristano Gulf coastline and between 1980s and 1990s on Su Murru Mannu hill. The overall analysis and distribution of the water supply points made it possible to establish some differences in the use between western and central-eastern quarters. The crossing of data from fieldwork with data of previous excavations has been a key-element, considering the incomplete visibility of the water supply system, in order to improve the knowledge with details no longer visible within the site.
