Hydrological Sciences Programme - Session HS3.3 "Medium and long-term hydrological forecasting for water management and water allocation" The session will deal with problems of medium and long-term forecasting and its predictive uncertainty for natural and manmade systems with storage. Methodologies related to medium and long-term forecasting with respect to: - long and mid-term forecasting of hydro-meteorological time series, - forecasting for the management of reservoir systems, - low flow and environmental forecasting, - drought forecasting - soil moisture forecasting, - snow melt forecasting and modeling will form the focus of the session. Real-world case studies are also welcome.
