Fish otoliths of 104 species of the Northern-Middle Adriatic Sea have been digitally photo-graphed using image analys procedures for reference collection. Shape and size, characteristics of the species, were analyzed by stereomicroscope and SEM. One of the main goal of image collections was to identify species remains recovered from fish stomachs.
