Starting from a brief overview of the "fluid" cultural horizon which characterizes the current age, this article focuses on affective education from a strictly pedagogic perspective. This means first of all posing a wider question about the nature and the characteristics of education itself. Secondly, it is necessary to examine explicitly the significance of man's act and the symbolic pregnancy connected to our body. Karol Wojtyla's anthropological thought, based on his concrete experience and sifted through a grounded theoretical reflection, provides fruitful starting hypothesis to this search for "pedagogic sense".
