The air intake manifold of a gasoline engine made by short glass fibre reinforced plastic was considered and its mechanical behaviour during a bursting test was studied. The aim of the work was to investigate the influence of material anisotropy, due to manufacturing process, and of vibration welding parameter process to the overall component resistance.

Abstract
The air intake manifold of a gasoline engine made by short glass fibre reinforced plastic was considered and its mechanical behaviour during a bursting test was studied. The aim of the work was to investigate the influence of material anisotropy, due to manufacturing process, and of vibration welding parameter process to the overall component resistance.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
