SACHER PROJECT: a Cloud platform for Cultural Heritage and integrated services for restoration. The SACHER project aims to provide a distributed, open source and federated cloud platform able to provide support for the management of the entire life cycle of data of various kinds concerning tangible Cultural Heritage. In particular, among the available services integrated into the platform , the SACHER 3D CH service based on 3D digital models of Cultural Heritage is dedicated to the management of architectural heritage and the restoration process. The service allows the gathering, storage and preservation of the numerous data generated by the team of professionals involved in the work – both for documentation and for operational purposes – prior to the restoration project, during the interventions of the building site and relating to the subsequent maintenance activities.
Il progetto SACHER intende fornire una piattaforma cloud distribuita, open source e federata, in grado di supportare vari servizi per la gestione dell’intero ciclo di vita dei dati connessi ai Beni Culturali tangibili. In particolare, tra i vari servizi integrati nella piattaforma, il servizio SACHER 3D CH basato sui modelli 3D dei Beni Culturali, è dedicato alla gestione del Patrimonio architettonico e di tutte le fasi del complesso processo di restauro, permettendo la raccolta, archiviazione e conservazione dei numerosi dati generati dalle molteplici professionalità coinvolte nei lavori con finalità documentative ed operative previe al progetto di restauro, durante gli interventi del cantiere e relativi alle successive attività di manutenzione.
