The volume presents a complete overview of the Grammars of Spanish for Italian speakers published between 1876 and 1900. The work contains a catalographic study where, on the one hand, new and revised data are presented on partially known editions or reprints, including works which were not known to critics until now, with a revision and correction of some of their unavoidable imprecisions. On the other hand, a detailed analysis is carried out on each text, examining: structure, hyperstructure, bibliography, tipography and terminology. The work presents a full reconstruction – in a detailed way and with a critical perspective - of an articulated corpus, to which new contributions from 1900 might be added in the future, in line with its methodology and functions. The work ends with an historiographic study where the information offered in the catalographic part are interpreted.
