A model able to measure resource and eco-effectiveness,previously proposed in the same Journal, is here implemented to the materials and energy,in the USA,Japan and Euro-15,for the years 1980,1985 and 1990.the results are discussed,in order to check if the new model can be utilized both for economic analyses and for policy decisions.
