Dialettica e filologia. Un profilo di Ezio Raimondi

Ezio Raimondi (1924-2014) has been one of the most eminent and distinguished scholars in Italian studies. His remarkable work, which includes a large variety of approaches to several different objects, deals with literature both as philosophy, belief and institution, and as intellectual and artistic activity. Raimondi’s diverse essays regarding Italian literature and philology cannot be defined according to any particular political or cultural ideology, nor to a specific theoretical position. His large and rich bibliography reflects different points of view on different moments of civilization from the Middle Ages to the present. The issue of this paper is try to address the peculiar aspect of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries historian and commentator.
