INDAGINE SULLA COSTRUZIONE DELLE CAPRIATE LIGNEE A BOLOGNA TRA IL XVI E IL XVII SECOLO

This article gives an in-depth analysis into the topics covered in the paper " Contribution to the knowledge of the wide span wooden roofs in the Bologna area " in which it was dealt with the analysis of some examples of large roof structures in important churches in Bologna starting from a geometric survey campaign conducted with a laser scanner. This study developed a broader instrumental investigation procedure, aiming to derive a series of significant information: deviations of the structures compared to theoretical models, deformations of the elements during the life cycle of the building, instability, state of conservation of materials, structural behaviour both locally and globally. Using the same methodology has been analysed here one more case study, the church of San Giovanni in Monte, the results of which is presented here as well as the recommended conservation interventions.

L’articolo approfondisce gli argomenti trattati nel paper “Contributo alla conoscenza delle coperture lignee ad ampia luce in ambito bolognese” in cui si è affrontata l'analisi di alcuni esempi di grandi strutture di copertura in importanti chiese bolognesi, partendo da una campagna di rilievo geometrico condotta con un laser scanner. Lo studio è servito per mettere a punto una procedura di indagine strumentale più ampia, tesa a ricavare una serie di informazioni significative: deviazioni delle strutture rispetto a modelli teorici, deformazioni nel tempo degli elementi, fenomeni di instabilità, stato di conservazione materica, comportamento strutturale sia locale che globale. Utilizzando la medesima metodologia è stato qui analizzato un ulteriore caso di studio, la chiesa di San Giovanni in Monte, di cui vengono qui presentati i risultati e le proposte di intervento individuate.
