STATISTICA quarterly journal, founded by Paolo Fortunati. STATISTICA accepts original papers dealing with methodological and technical aspects of statistics and statistical analyses in the various scientific fields. The journal focuses on all dimension of statistics and encourages interdisciplinary papers related to statistical analysis from a wide range of disciplines, including sociology, economics, psychology, medicine, physics, mathematics and finance. STATISTICA is published in one volume of four issues a year. The primary aim is to be able to publish good quality papers within a short period of time. The refereeing process conforms with the usual academic standards: it involves two independent referee reports and the advice of an appropriate area editor. Full texts are available since 2002.
