It is well known that obesity, disorder eating, depression, deviant behaviour has proven to be controllable, in a certain degree, with health education and physical activity promotion. That said, in a modern society that is tech savvy - the number of smartphones has increased by 32 % in the past year and full of time constraints, the new era for health education in developed countries, would be the development of systems that would incorporate advanced intelligence to improve the populations’ daily lives via an already possessed technology. Aim of this paper is to present several projects and future direction on how to improve PA participation by means of pervasive technolgies, linking IT with psychology.
