The paper aims to examine the irony as a tactic of production and divulgation of art in the era of web 2.0. The work is divided into three parts: the first part attempts to dispel the doubts and hopes of a possible definition of irony. The second part shows, through the work of the artist Scorpion Dagger, how the irony works as discursive tactic. The third part, in the form of short proposal, explains briefly what is proposed for structural images history.
