XANES and some relevant EXAFS spectra have been recorded at the XAFS beamline on a set of PTFE filters consisting of deposit of urban dust (from the Emilia Romagna region, Italy). Several metals K-edges were recorded (Fe, Ni and Zn), as planned, but several others relatively important metals were not acquired. Overall, considering the novelty of both topic and the experimental setup we rate this experiment as successful, opening the possibility for improvements and further data acquisition.
