Play is both a natural and a cultural experience in human life. There are two fundamental aspects of chuildren's play experience. The first one is the one that we could define as the natural and spontaneous play, which, from the pedagogical point of wiew, is defined as self-education. The second one, concerns play that, following a specific pedagogical intent, produces materials and encourages experiences having a specific educational goals.
