This volume presents, in its first section, a series of previously unpublished works that traverse the grammatical, syntactical, pragmatic and orthographic normative tradition of the Spanish language. The second section contains joint analysis proposals (recipients, norm, contrastivity) of various grammars of Spanish for Italian speakers that had been barely studied or were even unknown until now (L. Ambruzzi, J. Granados, E. Ovalle, C. Boselli). The third section gathers and presents the context of other grammaticographical and cultural traditions in the 19th and 20th centuries (teaching of Italian, French, English and Japanese for Italian speakers). The book is closed by a work on the professional figure of European translators, a topic underlying in the contributions of the volume relating to grammarians.
