EPDS is a rare disease that does not seem restricted to an age group, but rather to a precipitating event that involves the scalp, most commonly a mechanical trauma. The clinical histo- ry is therefore mandatory to suspect the diagnosis, which is suggested by chronic scalp erosions leading to skin atrophy and scarring.
