.Following the intensification of the production of marine fish species, including in primis European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) and gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata), parasitic pathologies have assumed an increasingly important role among the factors limiting mariculture productivity. Therefore, a parasitological survey was carried out with the aim of identifying the composition of the parasitic fauna of European sea bass and gilthead sea bream produced in Italy under different farming systems.

Abstract
