Rising from initial experiences with the laparoscopic exploration in case of cryptorchidism, a long road has been dome in pediatric urologic mini-invasive therapy. Actually almost all the pediatric urological pathologies of surgical interest can be treated laparoscopically or retroperitoneoscopically. Laparoscopy and mini-invasive surgery should be part of the knowledge of each surgeon and urologist to reach the goal of treat the pathology with less blood loss, shorter hospital stay, less postoperative pain and very small scars.
