Introduction The physical education at school can be help the children to improve their gross motor skill through an oriented multilateral activity. Without use drill as the only way to improve skill it’s possible differentiate the physical education activity to improve a particular objective. Aims The aim of this study was an attempt to investigate the possibility to improve run in children aged 6 by means oriented multilateral activity. The study was realized during the normal physical education in primary school in a period of 4th months. Methods The participants were 40 children, aged 6, from Italian primary school. Ten meter run speed test was applied to estimate the velocity and the steps frequency. The collected material was analyzed statistically. Wilkoxon Test was used to demonstrate the data significant. Results The obtained results show that multilateral activity had improved run motor skill in the sperimental group. The data analysis didn’t show a significant improvement in speed both in sperimental and control group instead it emphasize a substantial difference in the steps frequencythat decreasing in the sperimental group as a significant index of better motor control in steps frequency. Conclusion Oriented multilateralism, in physical education at scool, is a good way to help children to improve their gross motor skill. Without drill or special trainig its possible to stimulate the development of specific motor pattern who can be transfered in sport activity.
