Structured catalysts for the H2 production have been prepared by electrosynthesis of hydrotalcite-type precirsors on metallic foam. The preparation and main characteristics of the obtained solids have been desctibed in detail evidencing advantages and drawbacks of this preparation routes. Finally, the application of the obtained catalysts in the steam reforming and catalytic partial oxidation of methane is reported.

Abstract

Structured catalysts for the H2 production have been prepared by electrosynthesis of hydrotalcite-type precirsors on metallic foam.
