This paper presents m-Hippocrates, a software architecture for the provision of reliable m-health services. The system mainly focuses on communication issues concerned with healthcare monitoring appliciations. A communication software technology has been developed which provides a multi-path communication channel, offering the possibility of using multiple networks to transparently transmit healthcare monitoring data.
