This contribution analyzes the perceptions of professional operators and the economic and organizational impact resulting from the introduction of the Artist’s Resale Right in the Italian Art Market. The analysis discusses the results of a large survey (carried out by means of a questionnaire) focused on the most important Italian art auction houses and art galleries. For comparative reasons, the questionnaire has been also submitted to prominent European auction houses. The results of the questionnaire have been analyzed by adopting a “conventional Delphi” methodology.
